Let me know if you need any parts Gare. I deal a ton of jeep parts. From Bestop to curry and trail ready.

post up the damn final picture, your killing me here dude! I've been checking back 4 times a day trying to catch a glimpse of the final look.

I have a cherokee and am dying to get a jeep just like that, and you might just push me over the edge, so I need some help.

Ok...so I had some downtime waiting on some other parts to be fabbed up so in the deadtime I ordered up all new factory plastic to update the faded out original stuff. Spent a night swapping flares etc out.

Have you considered a Rubicon style, diamond plate rocker guard? or a heavy duty version from Warn? i dont know if this Jeep will get destroyed off road but if it will, they do tend to help in certain situations LOL

I considered it but really like the simplicity clean look of the factory stuff. Doubt they will get destroyed offroad.. LOL

Could have restored that faded plastic with a heat gun ;)

On to ordering the last of the parts.

I wanted a heavy duty tire carrier/bumper combo to handle the oversized spare. I also wanted a matching front bumper and rock sliders with the built in steps.

Couldn't find exactly what I wanted among our vendors here so at the advice of a friend I called up A to Z Fabrication. He built all my stuff to order.

That stuff showed up quick. By now the boxes were piling up.

Do tell, never heard of that.

Just take a heat gun and hold it about 3-4 in above the faded plastic and you'll see it turn black again, just have to keep it moving so you don't melt the plastic lol

Man I tried back to black etc. They were just too far gone. Didnt know the heatgun trick?

Yea I tired that stuff too but never really had any good results. I found the heat gun trick one day cruising around on YouTube lol

My old man taught me that. OE 1985 Chevy door panels never looked so good
