Well... I did not plan on hitting up the dyno so soon, but I was SO IMPRESSED after just 1 day of driving that I had to know the actual numbers.

We were VERY impressed with the results. Check out the unloaded dyno graph below comparing the standard KC stage 2 64mm vs Dual Ball Bearing stage 2 vgt turbo. The whole power curve increases and the turbo spools up about 150 rpms sooner.
2003 6.0 205/30 injectors, KC Stage 2 BB turbo

623hp
1123tq

Peak power gains over journal bearing turbo
18hp at 3100rpms
61tq at 2800rpms

The most impressive part was the power gains at 2500rpms
80hp
166tq

That is a HUGE power gain, it makes the truck INCREDIBLE to drive. Hitting 500hp and 1000tq at 2500 rpms.

Thanks Mike... that pre-filter is going on my RCSB race truck. I forgot to message you. I just got it and it is PERFECT! It should be done in about 1-2 months. Lots of pics are coming.

I love the no limit filter on this truck. I think it is almost mandatory with this new BB turbo! It needs a lot of air.

Charlie....I'm assuming pricing of the dual bb stage 2 would be quite a bit more than a normal stage 2? Im interested in upgrading I think!

Interested in this new turbo too, ball bearing and VGT, is it as whiney as the 38r though?

No whine. The 38r whine comes mostly from the compressor wheel design, not the ball bearings

Any chance of doing this to the stage 3 as well?

We are looking into it. A ball bearing VGT spools VERY FAST... there is a fear of spooling too fast and hitting the surge line. We have a lot more testing to do.

Yes sir. They will be more expensive. We basically build a complete stage 2 turbo... and add ball bearings. So it will be an up charge. Price has yet to be determined.

I bet this bb would be an awsome tow charger, thats what i primarly bought mine for, ideas thinking of upgrading the stock cast powermax to your stage 2, but I may hold off now as this new charger may be the cats meow
