I'm curious as to how your fuel system design is working, feeding to both sides of the head? Any kind of difference, worth it. Just any feedback

Well it has been mostly positive. It fits great, looks stock (not very noticeable), truck has great power and is holding PSI surprisingly well for the size of injectors.

IMO I wont really know how well the system is doing until I get a bigger fuel system and full fuel tune on it.

The only downside I have found it that I actually ran out of fuel a few weeks ago, literally as I was pulling into the fuel station. I had a heck of a time getting the truck started because it had sucked air into the system. With a "typical" regulated return it would have quickly worked out the air and sent it back to the tank... but with this style of system once air gets into the heads it has to exit through the injectors. This really shouldn't be an issue because only idiots run out of fuel :fustrate:

I am building a race truck and I think I am going to do a typical reg return... but IMO for anything under 600hp this would be adequate.

I have the Tru-trac in the rear end of my truck. (~800rwhp)
It's been solid for years, no noise, no complaints at all.
I hope to get one for the front diff this winter.

Where did you get your fuel lines for your system???

Its just something I made custom for this build. Not any brand you can buy. I wanted to see how well simply feeding both heads through the stock fuel bowl would work.

Thanks man. I hope I have good results. TruTrac is on order and as soon as it gets in I am going to have Diesel N More install it

I got my light bar installed. It turned out great. I hooked it right into the fog lights so I can turn it on from the headlight switch. I got the brackets from BPD and the light off ebay. BPD does offer a complete kit but I already had the light bar.

I might do a write up later... it was super easy and only took about 45min to install.

That's how mine is wired. Do a quick google search for the wiring to allow the fog switch to work on high beams.

The light bar looks great Charlie! Wifey got me one for Christmas. I have an adapter harness that'll plug right into the foglight harness also....so no splicing...just plug n play.

Charlie you did take the front cover off of the bar and run a bead of clear silicone around it right. Going to be getting one of those and a set of flush mounts to put in the rear bumper for reverse lights. 5% is dark at night.

No I did not... but I heard that was a good idea because it helps keep the water out. I think I am going to pull it off this weekend and do that.

I towed a little over the weekend and was very impressed with the results. Truck just runs so cool and clean. I don't have a good tow tune yet so I just used my SPD tune with the tow/haul button that locks out Overdrive. I am sure a good tow tune will change things a little bit.

Truck was loaded down with people and gear. I was pulling a tandem axle trailer loaded down with quads and dirtbikes. I was probably only pulling about 6000-7000lbs. I made a video while going up a slight hill... nothing big.

Truck pulls just fine at 1800-2000rpms but egts climb up a little bit. This is going up a slight hill.
Boost - 11-12psi
EBP - 16-18psi
EGT - 750-900 degrees

Truck LOVES to pull around 2500rpms. Runs super clean and pulls great. Once again going up a slight hill.
Boost - 13-14psi
EBP - 14-16psi
EGT - 700-750 degrees

Up a big grade truck will pull at 30psi around 2000rpms and the highest egts I saw were around 1050-1100

Here is a video... sorry for the bad lighting and shaky hand.

In the next month or so I am hoping to load up a real trailer... probably a 26ft toy hauler loaded down with gear. Should be around 12,000lbs. I am going to head up north to the mountains up around 7000ft and see how it does.

Wouldn't need to do that with a rigid ;)
