damn son! i'd keep it at 40psi and see how it does, can always go back and dial it in. If you stepped the wheel up that will help big time.

Stepping up the exhaust wheel will lose bottom end though...I'd rather have fast off the line, and a bigger gate, or gates for the mid/top end.

awesome location looks good.

thank you.

the path of flow isnt disturbed when the gate open, because i mounted it to follow the radius of the pipe, path of flow. meaning when the gate opens its not pressure just veers off into the gate,as opposed to a hard 90% turn.

it works well.

Were you able to run it yet with the 66/74/.70 or were you building pipes or something? I can't follow too good on the phone.

Any updates as to how I all worked out?

It runs good ivan. I will be very honest as far as the turbo is concerned. If i was only going to use this truck for street use, i would put a 71mm turbine wheel back in the ass end.

However im pulling with this truck, and with how high my bp were with the 71, it made sense even with the gate. Spoolup is only alittle slower. Nothing you would care about. But for street,i like a snappy throttle. I will be towing a trailer with this truck, the first week of october.

Im on vacay in myrtle beach sc now. Once i get back to the shop, ill get acouple more thing squared away and see how she runs.

Once my compounded black truck is done. The blue truck will be for comp use only.

I have wanted to try a comp turbo but my supplyer said they have terable customer service...... Like sending the wrong turbo and saying it will work just the same and not sending the right one type of bad customer service.

But the turbos looks bad azz. Triple ceramic ball bearing.

NEVER BUY A COMP TURBO. I TRIED 3 OF THEM AND THE **** THEM UP EVERY TIME. JUSTIN SEEMS LIKE A NICE GUY BUT HE IS A SHADY MO FO WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING A SALE.

Turbo 1) Wanted ct5 7688 Recieved CT6 74100 TURBO SUCKED COmpressor housing v band broke off

Turbo 2) CT5 asked for turbo w/o turbine housing because i had one. Diameter of Turbine to bearing housing V band machined wrong. Had to send back. Compressor housing V band also broke off

Turbo 3) CT43 67mm Recieved a CT3B turbo?? Turbine wheel blew apart 250 miles into it being installed.

THERE TURBOS ARE JUST JUNK, DONT MAKE **** FOR POWER, NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY

JUST MY $0.02 on COMP Turbo

Thanks for the update.

And I agree...for the street, the 71mm exhaust wheel was great.
Even though mine was from Trusted Performance...that turbo had a perfect 1:1 ratio right up to about 38-40 psi. (and that was with an open .70 housing)

I want to put my Silver Bullet back on without the Diverter valve, as the last time I ran it, the valve was seized up...not sure when it happened, but my drive pressure was still high...so I'm thinking it was because the Diverter valve was seized in the almost closed position.
And if I could find a set of manifolds and divided up pipes to try...I'd do it...
