Gotcha. Not that I care (other people might), but how does the dd effect shifting speed? I would assume it adds a significant amount of rotating mass over the stocker, but maybe it's not enough to really make a difference.

Yes it's heavy. Not a race clutch, by any stretch. I can shift it fairly quickly, but doing so is a bit rough on it.

I've got a single disc valair in my tow rig. Rated for 450/900 pedal feels like stock, just a touch more "grabby" than the stocker as well. Truck has a 38r, adrenaline, intake/exhaust, probably around 350-370hp tune that I tow with. It only gets used to haul the horse trailer, flat deck gooseneck for hay, hay wagons etc and has been a great clutch so far.

Thanks for the info/testimony. That leaves a lot of headroom from where I'll ultimately be operating. I plan on shooting for those hp numbers in my tow tune also once I have the fuel and air to get there.

My valair 500/1000 did good for a little bit with 250s and a 468... I'd buy another one for what ur doing in a heartbeat
