Reminds me of that Southpark episode....LOL

lol yeah thats what made me think of it....I think maybe for once this truck needs a sticker on it. I think a big 'ol "RED ROCKET" sticker in the back window might look pretty good. Or the "Unaturally Aspirated..."

Or hell, bring back the "Poon-Platune" seeing as thats not running around anymore...

I was able to finish the dually delete and F-250 spring swap today.

Front F-350 spring vs F-250:

How it sits with F-250 springs up front:

Rear:

Final stance:

I also got the roll pan tacked in place, but need to sort out some fitment issues:

Only issue I have right now is with the driveline yoke. Apparently the gassers have a smaller u-joint/ yoke than the diesels do. Anyone know more about this?

Looks good.

IIRC - the gassers use a 1310 rear driveshaft and the diesels use a 1350 - but I could be mistaken slightly. I probably have a 1350 yolk off of a 10.5 sterling that came out of my red truck down in the shop if you want it its yours for the cost of shipping. Or you could get a 1310/1350 joint - but I'm not sure that would hold up all that well long term to the abuse you'll see with a diesel.

Thanks Jason!

I think I might just run the conversion joint, this truck will rarely tow (only if the other truck is broke) and that u-joint will need to be replaced soon anyways. If I ever do run into issues with it I think I will just swap yokes.

Cool swap. For some reason i kind of like how it looked with the single wheel bed and the dually wheels.

Yeah, me too!

What rollpan is that?

Grant Customs.

I still have to put the corners on, but the roll pan is not flush with the tailgate, it sits proud around 1/8. Need to figure out a easy solution for this before I move on.

As it turns out I need a 1410 to 1350 u-joint or a 1350 yoke for the driveline.

Gonna have to call around tomorrow to see whats available.
