Truck looks good! Any rubbing with those tires and a one inch block? Do you have 3.31 or 3.55 gears?

Thanks:thumbsup: It rubbed at the back of the fender where it meets up with the inner fender screw and it rubbed when in reverse on the front bumper support. I gently massaged the fender in with a dbh and I trimmed the front bumper support a little bit with a cut off wheel. Now everything clears, but the tires are still extremely close to the front bumper support when reversing and just before full lock. Its crazy the truck lowers down over an inch when put into reverse and turning.

And Im pretty sure the truck has 3.31's which probably isn't helping with the power loss deal.

The video doesn't link man .. But I'd love to hear it.. Espeacially down the track

I think it's cool as Hell you're drag racing a factory road race car!! With 5.14s and a built trans.. How high do you turn that thing down the track man.. You just run 1/8 mile?

Click on the pic for the video, its a photobucket thing. It should bring it up in another window.

Yeah I love the strip, road course is a ton of fun too, but its just too hard on the paint for me. It will turn past 8400, but if I start hitting the mph I want it to I should be crossing around 8 to 8200 in 4th with the 28's on. And all the tracks around here are 1/4

Here it was with the stock wheels and tires

And a run before the suspension work, stock trans and gears

Before the trans, gear and suspension changes it had gone 11.1 at 125 w/ a very lazy 1.6 60'. Hopefully we will get that down a bit soon!

Lol ya that's the wife's smasher, it's gone 12.5's so it's pretty fun too.

5.12's? Thats nuts that it will still trap in 4th at the speeds you are running, but I guess thats what a motor that runs up to 8 grand will do. What kind of RPM does it turn on the highway like that in 6th?

ya they are 5.14's, it should be able to turn a hair over 130 in the top of 4th. And I haven't really had the chance to get it out on the road and drive it around since the tranny swap. I spend too much time at work:morons:
