i'm only running two nozzles in mine. Snow biggest one and a small one....i believe a 625ml nozzle and a 175ml nozzle. I've got the stage II kit and i notice a big drop in egts when it comes on probably 150-200*

Look at the coolingmist setups, that's what I run on my truck, seems to be a lot more happier people with them than snow, also you can get water soluable cutting oil amd mix a little bit in your tank each time you fill it up to keep things from rusting Charles even posted pictures to make sure you get the right stuff in the thread I started here when I was looking for a setup and there's some really good info it it let me dig it up real quick

Here is the thread

Did you notice the power gains while towing EP? What kind of MPG gains if any did you see? You say that you never saw the temp reduction that they claim, what did you see as far as temp reduction? What setup (turbo, injectors, tunes, other mods) were you running at the time. Sorry for all the questions, but you seem to have some really good info on this system.

Yeah and you only have to out just a tiny bit, well that's all I'm putting.... Knowing my luck I'm putting 2 drops to little and it's still rusting some lol

Lowered compression/coated pistons, Colt Cam, 190/100 injectors, 64/71/70 non Vgt turbo, CFM Big mouth, Banks inter cooler, blah, blah, blah...
I never used it after pulling the trailer, cuz the gogo intake finally showed up, and I took it all off.
When I pulled the old intake off to put the gogo on is when I seen all the rust inside the intake ports of the heads. That's when I knew I didn't want it anymore.
Still have bout 8 cases of -40* windshield washer fluid...
I sold the whole kit and included a 5 gallon pail of methanol too.
Mileage? No idea as I was pulling a bigass trailer through the foothills.
I'm sure it helped, but not worth the spac lost in the box carrying all the injectable fluids...

the radiator rust inhibitor/water pump lubricant bottle of stuff does the same thing in the water injection systems. I've heard of guys running both, but i've heard and know of more people running the rust inhibitor/water pump lubricant stuff more than people using the cutting oil tho. The rust inhibitor/water pump lubricant stuff is a milky white liquid just like the cutting oil is.

I appreciate all the info. I'm still running the stock injectors/turbo and intercooler. I'd bet the gains they claim are on a stock set up or at least closer to stock. Either way this is all great info.

Sounds good, might to have to pick up a bottle of that whenever the cutting oil runs out... Im sure it all does the same thing... All I know is before in my hot tune I had to peddle it to keep the EGTs down and now even with just the basic kit and just washer fluid/distiller water I have to try real hard to get it over 1200 or so....

So what gains did you see on your stock setup (power, EGT's, MPG's)?

i don't run the water/meth for MPG's cause the stage II kit isn't really designed or setup for it. The stage III MPG max is more user adjustable and is better suited for MPG's. I noticed a nice little kick in power and about the same drop in EGT's like i do now with my current setup...which is about 150-200 degrees when gettin on it.

Thanks. I'm looking at the MPG-Max kit. I should see the power and EGT reduction as well as a slight bump in MPG's.

For my stage II kit...i have mine setup where it starts injecting at about 15psi of boost and fully inject at around 30. When it first starts injecting at 15psi...power comes on instantly like a flip of a switch and boost rises quick and the tone of the exhaust barks louder.

Just looked at the cooling mist system and it's definitely an option, but it only reads boost up to 30psi and I'm already above that. I'll research it a little more though. Probably call the company and see what they have to say.
