Nitrous or Water/Meth?

I've been using water soluble cutting oil for a few thousand miles.

It will read more than that, it's saying you cant have it come on after 30psi, like my kit is set to come on at 12 psi, but I just have the stage 1 kit so it's not real fancy... They are located in ga as well. The guy can Be kinda but weird to talk to sometime but they make seriously top notch stuff Also they have a FB page and never take more than 24 hours to get back to you... Most of the time just a couple hours... Make sure you ask em if they are running any specials or anyhting like that when I ordered my kit he gave me a free tank and only charged me $10 for shipping plus threw in 3-4 feet of extra hose

You are comparing apples and oranges.

The water/meth is better for towing. Nitrous for play/strip.

I would look at water injection for lowering EGTs. Meth in small doses if needed.

Lowering your intake charger is going to free up horsepower vs adding meth(i.e. fuel) to your cylinders

I also ran meth before and ended up not noticing much of a difference. I pulled it off when a cummins guy offered me some money for it. Honestly it was not worth it for me. I tried 50/50 mix on down to windshield fluid. It didnt drop egts much either. Nothing worth calling home about. It was a labonte kit and he and the owner of snow performance started snow. He ended up not liking how the buis was running so he started his own. I had a 10gph nozzle and 14gph. I also bent a pushrod when I had it on. I cant for sure say it was the meth but since I took it off everything else is the same and have not had a problem. That makes me think it was the meth personally.

A light comes with the snow kit. It lights up when it starts to inject. I ended up getting a larger LED one and installed it right next to my pyrometer gauge on my A-pillar.

He was talking about a led dome light lol, but it would be nice to have a little led that came on whenever it starts to inject since my kit is a stage 1 it doesn't have that... Something I need to loom into

So that's what lit up every time it started to inject? That seems like it would be a little bright, no? Wouldn't a smaller one that's just bright enough to see its working be better? I know on my truck with the tinted windshield if something that size came on so close to the windshield at night it would probably make it impossible to see the road lol

water meth put 50hp/80ftlbs down on the dyno for me, same day, same dyno, same tune, I have dyno sheets to prove it. I have no rust on my intake ports. If you get water meth run either the pre made boost juice or pure methanol with distilled water mixed in. I never run anything higher than a 50/50 mix. But I still want nitrous for the track.

Nitrous is really only useful if you have enough extra fuel to support it. In other words, larger injectors. I'm already maximized on airflow as my 1/4 mile runs are as clean as a whistle. Water/Meth adds the extra fuel I need. I am ALL about the Water/Meth. I have the Snow Performance MPG-Max kit and I couldn't be happier about the results. Come out to the track this Friday and I'll show you why!

but like jkid said..youre comparing two completely different power adders purpose wise. Nitrous is a lot more dangerous (than a properly mixed water/meth mixture) and is more for playing around. meth is more of a purpose your looking for i think..

Also, don't forget that nitrous is expensive as hell! Water/'Meth (even the 49% Boost Juice) is relatively cheap.

Sweet, I might make a pass or 2 in the dually if the trans doesn't say FU first I gotta dig my helmet out... Is there a place locally I can get some boost juice?

I hope so.... Maybe you can do something to my trans to keep it alive enough for a few runs and then pull the trailer home haha
