Are heater hoses hot?

I would just buy a new heater core after you check the old one of course. They arent that bad and you don't want whatever you break loose going into your oil cooler.

Ummmm, thermostat? Id begin by making sure your coolant is warm. You already checked the coolant level. If it got low, are you sure there isnt air in the heater branch of the coolung system?

Did you take the blower motor out and verify the door is opening?

hey guys my trucks doin the same thing except it useto be cold when idlen now its cold all the time temps are gettn up to 184-190 its 20 outside atm
