Non VGT compounds

So I have been wanting to switch from VGT to non VGT compounds. I am still figuring out the sizing so I can do it one time and be done with it. I still want some low-end torque, cool EGT's (ideally less than 1300* f) and be able to use most of my power band with little to no airflow restrictions. I want to be able to tow and smoke a hellcat from a dig every once in a while.

I'm looking to make 1000-1300hp obviously with supporting mods. probably go with 100% or 150% over injectors. I also have no interest or need for spray.

I was thinking of going with an s362/73/.90 as secondary, s476/88/1.32 OR s480/96/1.32 primary.
Even an s366(or 466) & s488 if it tows well enough.

Running 35” tires and might be going with 3.73 gearing to get the rpm in the turbos efficiency range for cruising and towing on the highway. Not sure on the stall yet. I think a 362 would spool well enough on a stock converter with good shift point tuning.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to go thru the process of ripping these chargers out to test different turbine/compressor housings etc multiple times - unfortunately due to the fact that I will probably have the turbos mounted in the valley(if they fit) to retain amenities like a/c, both batteries etc and not spend a bunch of time and money to fabricate piping for a remote mounted setup where the passenger side battery is for the primary charger.

For whatever it’s worth, I work for KC turbos, and on our drop in turbos, we’ve broke 1000 with 100s. Probably wouldn’t recommend driving it daily or towing super heavy at that power level, but we typically have it set around 900, and it tows around 10k no problem fairly often.

Yeah I’ve seen a lot about the KC fusions being a great option but I’m looking for a little more power.

Very tow friendly for sure.

Back in the day a guy on here added a turbo over his stock turbos and made around 1100 almost smoke free. I'd love to do just that, but also use the KC turbos in the mix.

varies but usually max weight between 17k - 22k gross, TX & CO
defiently can be done with a 364.5/80 and a s476/96 1.32.... But bang for your buck go with kc fusions. I do plan on making a setup like that with both in the valley...... we want to do kos this year... I just havent gotten around to it yet :(
and like 6.0 tech said the kc stuff works well. there is a thread that charlie made on here when he was developing them.

I’ll try to find that thread! Think a 480 is too big for what I’m doing? Also what is kos?

476 will get you to your power goal depending on whos comp wheel you use. 480 will with some wiggle room. you could get away with a low blade count wheel on the atmo becuase you wont have that high of a press ration across that comp. But the high press comp I would stick with the 7+7 sxe wheel.
kos, King Of the Street. they used to have it out west, now its out in DE. dyno, drags, dirt drags and sleed pull. I was out helping the firepunk guys out this past year. Ill be out there next year for the no prep with my truck and planning on posibly taking my buddies cclb kr truck. its got a 5b 475 on it now with stock fuel. but that wont be enough comp or turbine for the power will need. welllll maybe just barley, itll defenitly need 60s-100s and a gate with that small turbine housing orrrrrrrrrrrr I get him into a G45-1600 1.25~~~~ thatll spool better and have more powaaaaa but $$$$$. idk well see
