The 175cc 100% nozzle injectors Nate builds is a really good ste of injectors. I ran that set up for 4 years. Ran great and I never had to worry about the EGTS.

Yeah. Im actually not sure who built these injectors though. I bought them not knowing what they were out of a blown motor a year ago, i was only told that they were 100hp injectors. Took em to Nate and sure enough they were 175's. Anyways i'm excited to go get em. Since i've owned truck its always ran rough and had a slight miss. I threw in these used AD's and it helped it a little but not much. Hopefully with these injectors it'll run like new, until i start breaking stuff. LOL

If its ran rough with 2 different sets of injectors chances are its probably not in the injectors thats causing the miss!

what else would do it? just curious

ICP issues, whether it be the IPR or the ICP sensor or the pump itself. Low compression, TUNING (a big one there), electrical issues (UVCH, IDM, PCM).

When you say the truck has a "miss" or a rough idle the possibilites are endless. But if the injectors are high mileage injectors then thats a great great place to start, i know it solved my issues a few years back

Thats what i was afraid of but Nate listened to it and he thinks it sounds like an injector or two not firing right. Truck doesn't use any oil and IMO the blow-by looks pretty normal. My original injectors were shot when i pulled em out, one nozzle was covered in carbon. These AD's looked good, but were pulled out of a used motor that i know nothing about. I put them in knowing they could be just as bad.

It just has a lopey idle(tach doesn't move), and a slight vibration between 1500-2k rpm's, and a slight miss at all RPM's. Runs rough when its cold, but as it warms up it smooths out. If i drive it fairly easy it generally runs smooth, if i'm running it hard it will run a little rougher. And randomly some days it will run smooth and other days its rough. IMO if it was internal issues it would be more consistent. It also can change depending on what tune i'm in or how much throttle i'm giving it, but there is always a vibration. To me everything points to injectors. One of these days i'm gonna get the HPOP and IPR off the spare motor and throw in my truck also, then work on my DIY Gen 3. So hopefully my mods will cure my issues.

Im going to say your tuning is not perfected.

Sounds kinda like the problem I'm trying to track on my truck. Some days it moves the tach, some days it doesn't. But it idles rough, it'll rev up and down, kinda sounds like a miss/CPS issue. Been through multiple CPS's, ran it on AE, and no issues, no codes. But I wanna run it again and check IP duty cycle and IP one more time and go from there. I'm still thinking more and more about doing an IPR. ICP is clean. 127k on the truck.

Yeah, i love Matt's tunes. Very clean, but strong. Went to some pulls last night and on the way home our group was playing around. It was my truck, my buddies 03ish D-max with EFI-Live and new injectors, and another buddy in a new Civic. It was fun playin with em, but if we got a long enough straight away they left me in the dust cause i'd have to back out quick and just cruise(no gauges yet). I can't wait till i get my 2's, HPOP, and E-fuel done. Should be able to hang with em, until my tranny bites the dust. :pointlaugh:

But after last night i noticed my have a problem. My turbo will not light until 2k RPM's. Coming home we were doing 50-55 most of the time, and every time we hit a hill i'd have to hammer it and speed up to spool the turbo ,or i would just sit there and smoke everybody out. At one point i just got pissed and was going up hills in 3rd at about 2700 RPM's. I believe i have a serious up-pipe leak somewhere.

Good thing is if i ever get a large laggy turbo i'll be somewhat used to it. LOL

I wish my truck did that. I punch it and wait for the little stock HPOP to build some pressure, then the turbo starts slacking and won't spool, then once the tranny starts seeing power it tells me to f' off :flipa:. So when i punch it i sit there and smoke then all of a sudden it takes off.

If i do a boosted launch she lights up one tire and then the rear end gets pissy and i have to back out before anything breaks.

Needless to say my truck hates any kind of launch. LOL
