so i thinkin about doin a 5 speed swap and need of a clutch, dont plan on goin bigger then my ones maybe just hpop later to upgrade my stock what the best clutch for the buck?? mostly tow and DD

Call Valair, tell them Cody from Death Row Diesel sent you and get the kevlar/ceramic. Full ceramic is rated for 100 more hp but they won't warranty it if you tow.

Kinda like me. I was gonna get gauges, do e-fuel, work on a Gen 3 set-up, and get some rims this fall/winter. Also was gonna get a better torque converter and valvebody cause my transmission seemed to be holding fine, just needed some help. Then my converter blew up filling the tranny with metal, and since i can't track down a good used tranny i'll have to go with a re-build which will be $2500-5000 depending on what i want to do.

And i have 11 days to get it running again. Thats when i start college and i'll be damned if i have to drive my white truck 40-50 miles a day. I get tired of driving it the little(10-20 miles) bit i do now. No a/c, starters going out, rusted out exhaust making it sound like a ricer, and 4.10s with a C6 and low revving engine suck. :cursing:

In other news my stage 2's are done and ready to go. Just to add insult to injury.

Yeah i think he sold it a while ago though, back when my transmission was fine lol. I still have some places to call so hopefully i can track a used tranny down. If i can get one to get me into the winter i'm gonna try to go down to Arkansas and get a BTS.

Yeah, i'd like to. We have a bunch of friends in Arkansas and Louisiana, and i'd turn it into a big duck hunting/BTS trip if i had the time.

And that stage 6 for $3500 sounds like a good deal if its in good shape. But i don't wanna dick with ATS crap. Although i could sell it down here and make money off of it cause everybody things ATS is the best...
