That's to far for an oil filter...LOL
Sounds to be a very strange problem, allthough I have an even better one for you..
My cousin has a new Tundra, they have a canister that goes over the filter, you have to take down the skid plate to change the oil, PITA, he changed the oil three times, all within a three days with 7 quarts of Mobil 1 mind you, he couldn't figure out why he was losing three quarts a day, I looked at it and the filter canister was cracked...LOL
That's like going from portland to waterville on back roads with the current condition of them.

Yes and no he has not had the time to squeeze my truck in to take a look at it yet. It is worse than when I tried before by the looks of it it is what it is right now at least it is running and driving. :shrug:
