I run Rotella T6 in my 06 6.0 w/ 260,000Kms. That's around 150,000 miles for you southern boys.
I've got a bypass kit from a company I won't plug because they had ****ty service, fittings were installed loosely, thread taped the wrong direction, and included advertising material for an outside vendor in the packaging.
That being said, I would like to buy another filter mount similar to the NUC one I've got on my truck for a coolant filter. =)
I've gone as high as 12,500Kms, (7500 miles) on a change with T6 and had great UOA results from Blackstone. They were telling me to go farther on the changes but due to my schedule at the time, I just didn't have the time to give it the attention it needed and have been changing it at shorter intervals because I only have opportunities to change it when i'm out of the bush etc.
I can buy it at any Wal-Mart, or Oil-Mart here in Canada, and won't even bother looking at the others. I'm VERY happy with it.
I'm going to start running T5 0-40W in my TDI Jetta.
