yessir, im almost 100% positive its from BD. its just a t3 to up pipe adapter.

you wont like the industrial adapter so don't go that route.

t3 to vband? I think the one youre thinking of is indeed BD, before they came out with the diverter valve their old thruster used a t3 flange too.

yup but its a t3, Let me know what you find out price wise because it should be pretty cheap now, maybe even a part #?

This is the old thruster with all the parts... I need to get my hands on the pedestal, flange and drain tube.

I think I'm just gonna seal up the adaptor flange I have...get rid of the diverter valve altogether...nobody wants a seized up diverter valve, and I can mod the hell out of this one then.

My II turbo had a braided hose for return line,Man did it suck!

haha you're telling me. I hated that damn thing when i was running the 62/70 from II. When i removed the turbo the darn thing wouldn't come out of the HPOP housing cover. I had to cut the thing in half with a compact air saw and then yank out the half stuck in the cover...PITA.

Ordered a non-diverter valve adaptor today.
Measured up some stuff...the thickness of the diverter valve is about a 7.3% restriction itself...based on a 2.5" outlet to the turbo.
I think there is enough restrictions on the exhaust system...don't need to add any more...
BD diverter valve for sale.
PM me if interested. Btw, I took it apart and fixed the seized bushing. So its back to start opening at 8 psi instead of 6.

While having a diverter valve may help spoolup some, it just seems like something else to mess up even if its operation is simple and I am with you on why add any more restrictions to the exhaust? I wouldnt think you will have any trouble getting your turbo to light with as much fuel as you plan to throw at it.
