It truely is going to come down to who you bought them from.

My chart says our 230/100's need 3.2 ms to empty all 230cc if you have 3000icp and 65psi fuel on the bench. The 250 will take roughly almost 4ms with everything else the same.

With that said some modifications have to be done to get these figures. As we have tested from some popular shops a min of 5ms to get the 250cc to empty. And that only after slowing the bench down to simulate 1500rpm instead of the previous 3000rpm.

Just because they all look shinny doesn't mean they function the same.

Honestly if i fill up at an exit and get right on the freeway run 72-74 1900-1950 rpm i can fill back up and get anywhere from 20-23 i have 238-100 a t4 billet s366 315-75-16 duratracks and 3.55 gears and gh tunes and i get great economy. Its a crew cab long bed with a heavey ass bumper and a very full tool box along with a full size spare tire. And on every trip i also have the dog the wife the kid and the gear. Ive had 100+ honest trips above 20 mpg. Runs around 625 cruising. Hope this helps

Did you recalibration the speedo after going to the 315s?

I have 3.55s with 285s and I re-calibrated my speedo. At 70, I'm turning 1850. Your truck should be turning less rpm with the taller tires.

My pis 250/200 have a real sweet spot where 2.4 ms of ow makes just the right amount of power. Permagrin sized nozzles.

I never noticed a change in fuel economy with 200% nozzles. I never calculate my mileage but I swear the fuel neeedle drops slightly slower if you are moderately driving it as I do on a daily basis.

Probably. You're jamming a bit of fuel in quick. Versus pouring it in with tiny nozzles.

I dont wanna jinx myself. I get 16 easily. I used to be able to get 20 intermittently but it'd drop if you didnt drive like a nerd. Got rid of the big tires and lift so hopefully ill pick up a bit more.

I have 250/200, billet 38r, idp comp fuel system, medium oil, etc etc...

That's what I've been running the last 4yrs and 17-19 typically. Except swapped to a KC38R back in October.

Well I ended up putting them in. Trucks running really good, spools quick with the 38R and a 6 speed. Can tell its running out of turbo on top, but for now I am very pleased. Need to do a little waste gate tuning. I ran a tank of fuel through it, and it did pretty good. 540 miles, 33 gallons filled to the brim as usual, 16.36 mpg. I know atleast 100 of those miles were pretty rough, people wanting to go for rides, and such. Taking a trip up to 1,000 islands new york this weekend, and back the following. Ill be sure to update my results. Plenty happy with how they work!

FF 250/100's and BASB is a quick spooling tire roasting Bastard. Tows heavy stuff like a champ and EGT'S are 200+ less than the Billet D66 that I had with 160/100's. All around badass truck, DD, and tow rig. 35's with 4.10's work perfect.

Of course! Every option you can do has been done. I use the MPG max water meth as needed but really don't need it very often. 200% nozzles and either 369 or 468 have my interest but I hate to ruin a very nice running setup.

my tow sleeper is setup that way, its a great setup just need to regear is the last step. I get about 13 loaded towing. Ive only had to worry about egt's on a few big hills we have here in arizona. Its hard to get it past 1100 egt with 160/100

my other truck gets 12 towing and 16mpg on a roadtrip with 250s on 37s. Actually drove back from vegas on my race tune vs going there on my eco and did have a worthy note of better mpg.

having kc turbos local id suggest it anyday of the week over a 38r for its main reasons that you can find, its rebuilable unlike the normal 38r and thats should be everything you need to know. Ive seen it on about 7 local trucks ranging from stock to basic upgrades, its a lot better then my old 38r when i had one.

Significantly lower back pressure. When running 250's BP vs boost was almost even. I think to date, between Charlie and I, we've sold over 100 chargers.

Any hard numbers ? I need to adjust my hate on my 38R, but it's pretty much 1:1 until the gate opens at ~50 psi (36psig) which is making ~36 psi boost.

Stock 38R, 1.0 gated housing obviously. Like I said though, gate needs tightened up some.

Thus is going off the EBP sensor, however accurate it may be.

What injectors? My BP when I was running a Garrett 38R was easily into the high 50's with 40 boost.
