So there's some minimal haze out the exhaust at idle. I don't know if it's to be expected with 175/75s or not. You can definitely smell that it's fuel smoke, and occasionally see it during the day, but it's mostly noticeable at night when there is light shining in the right spot. Also seems to either happen or I notice it after getting on it. I don't know if this is normal, a sign of injector problems or maybe something I can have mended through tuning.
Non-expandable pyro seems to have chit the bed, need to install my ISSPROs and probably get an EAS probe too.
And my biggest issue thus far is random surging/fluctuations in vane position. No codes. Usually when I'm cruising on the interstate, I see like 42-46% for vane position and around 6psi. Then it'll jump to 54-56% and I wanna say 9psi, maybe more. It's hard to see exactly how long it stays like this, because I'm usually going over overpasses so naturally vane pos. and boost are changing. While it's not the most quantitative measurement, the biggest thing that I notice is obviously sound. The turbo obviously gets louder and pitch changes since vane pos and boost levels change, but because those numbers fluctuate so much it's sometimes hard to tell how long this condition lasts. But driving it, the sound level/pitch of the turbo is noticeably higher than normal for whatever driving conditions. I'm not sure where to start looking into this.
Turbo is a Powermax, installed last July(2014) and has roughly 8k miles on it now.
