See where that thing is fused at too, never know. They do go out pretty often though.

The vac pump? Yea, I saw a vid on YouTube w/ a remedy I'll try. If that doesn't work then I'll replace it.
Does the issue being intermittent possibly narrow the issue down? As in, if the lines were bad then it wouldn't work at all, whereas the pump could malfunction electronically and cause the random issues.

the vac pump is cheep, 90.00 retail i believe. i would get a hand vac pump and go thru your vac system from connection to connection because most of the time the reason the pump failed is because of a small leak which made the pump run continually and burn itself up. the duty cycle is not terribly long. also check to see if your 4x4 hubs are leaking. it is common for corrosion to get in around the o-rings. (one between the inner and out hub and one around the dial that you turn). unfortunately it is nearly impossible to clean then up-they need replacement

If the hubs are the issue just cut the lines and plug them. If you need 4x4 get your ass out and lock them :p

Lol that's why I'm not too worried. It's getting cool, don't NEED ac right now and I can just get out and lock them, not that I plan to do use 4X4 anytime soon. I feel like passengers may complain about the AC though…but they'll get over it.

Woah there, let's not give anything any ideas about breaking now…

Found someone w/ 05 Harley wheels on 35" Trail Grapplers, is a level a must to run those? I plan to level it in the future, but I'd rather use that money to fix the vac pump issue and get my livewire set up.

you could get a cheapo leveling kit for like $80 to get you by if you really want them. can wait on the rear blocks and get the cali lean going on unless you have a 350

Welp…looks like I'm gonna be broke for a while…I'm 90% sure that there's a miss, again. Unless I missed something(see what I did there), I have a bad inj. so this should be fun…

Anything else I should try/look for before saying for certain it's a dead injector?

You need a hashtag LOL #6.0problems
Jk

But yeah if a injector is going out might as well start saving for the the rest. They are like dominos once the start failing is one by one.

A bad injector will most likely not throw a code unless it is absolutely awful. I had four injectors gone-the truck would hardly drive and it didn't set a code. You probably have already checked the basics but:

Fuel pressure, injector contribution balance, ficm main voltage. Then more in depth is pull the valve covers and check for high pressure oil leaks. Another trick is if the miss is at idle you can disconnect the icp pigtail and see if it changes. That will force it to a default setting. You may have a bad icp sensor.

Is the miss consistent? Only when it's cold? Only at idle? Sorry for being disjointed-im tired...

^ good stuff, mine always threw a contribution code but it was bad. Also pulling connectors off one injector at a time until one of them doesn't change.
