Pro comp traction bars

Excuse the dirty truck but here's the traction bars installed.

I feel like it launchs a little better but I just want around block with them.

How are these holding up for you?

I dont race or pull, however I was having terrible axle wrap and crappy shifting. After installing my pro comp bars its like driving a totally different truck.

Guess these dont work well for stock height trucks, going to keep looking. Let me know what you guys with stock height are doing?

some guys experience bad ride if the bars arent on enuf of an angle.

Why wouldn't they work with stock height?

The axle mount is somewhat high and the bars will hit or be very close to the leafs. Plus they are not adjustable for pre load.

Was going to buy the mounts and make bars but looks like that wont work. I think they say 4" block or more then they work fine.

my buddy had these on his 01 that was stock in the rear. just a front leveling kit and his truck did great with them

We had a set on our 1996 reg cab, and bent them in three weeks after having them put on the truck, we made a customs set, and there still on the truck two years later.

Mine helped out a lot. So muc we put the on my brothers stock height truck and haven't had any problem. They helped my truck out alot
