Small world, I've followed your vette build on YB. I have a twin 70mm 416ci ls setup in an 05 gto. I run 275x class.

I've been more than pleased, and impressed, with this setup from H&S. Oem quality cast parts take all the what-ifs out of the equation when traveling the country with a trailer in tow. My egts are so on point sometimes I flick the minimaxx screen just to see if it's locked up!

Even dumping the fuel to it on a highway pull (no trailer ) I still can't get it over 1360°, and that was with 3.31s on 35s. Now with the 3.73s, she's cool as a cucumber. I'll be going to a larger turbo eventually, hence the gears.

Man am I ever jealous of your EGT's. I can get that with the stock turbo in tow mode empty haha. One Day soon I will have that turbo!!!

I'd like to try some other singles first. I'd rock a two stage triple though. Who will develop it first...

Zane has something for you. :)

Developed? It's done proven and ready already just plumbing I suppose. You prob won't believe me but the triples I had on my 5.9 Cummins spooled quicker than the charger we have now. And supported 1000HP on fuel multiple times.

This is the guy I sold my set to.

Nice numbers Jon! Me personally wouldn't give up the drivability or towing capability of that custom 64mm and go to the 69mm for that extra 50hp at wot...... That's just me though.

Yea man this internet sure has done that huh, the small world thing??? I'm pretty sure I've seen your GTO in the build section, right???

Chatty good to hear your towing performance and EGTs. Sounds like you put your Super Duty to work for sure, and it likes it!!! Now I'm here to learn so you guys please bear with me. This deal I'm putting together has 4.88 gears with 33" tall tires, so getting a heavy load going shouldn't be an issue. Now I do want to be able to cruise down the hwy at a decent rpm at 75-80 and if that means adding a gear vendor than so be it. Triple overdrive, how about that??? I currently own a 02 F350 drw with just 80k miles that I put a gearvendor on it years ago, best 3k I've ever spent on this truck. Now I've been wanting an F450 and this 6.7 intrigues me. I do believe Ford's done a great job in developing this power plant. The block looks much like an ls 6.0 block but on steroids. The only weakness I can see are the wimpy rods, so with that I guess I'm going to have to invest in billets. I purchased a low mileage 2010 F450 without any motor or transmission, I don't want anything to do with the 6.4. The guy I bought it from bought it for the motor and transmission so it worked out great for the two of us. So instead of purchasing a 70k truck and go to modding it, I'm going this route. This way I can build it the way I want and hopefully it'll be better than and brand new truck.... **** not having any payments makes it better in my mind, or at least that's the way my brain works anyways. So when I'm done with this frankenstein I'll have a heavy duty truck with a four link out back with air bag suspension all around for a decent ride quality and a pretty bad-ass motor putting out any wheres of north 650hp and maybe even more!!! But with **** loads of torque. That's what I'm really after is the torque, but the hp #'s that comes along with it is the gravy. Now all this talk of twins and even triples has got me thinking AND learning. The benefits of that is having a small turbo for super quick spooling and the larger (be it one or two) is to continue forcing more and more air without compromising that super quick spooling, right??? Again, I'm in the learning process so please bear with me.....And if that's the case the only downside is the extra expensive of the turbos, right??? Well that and the fabrication to incorporate those into the system... I can do my own fabrication so no worries there. So the "big" question is, will it be worth it with my application, those super low gears and all???

Again, thanks for sharing ya'lls setups and it's performance and learning me this pressurizing of this diesel stuff!!!!! And if I do go with twins or if it happens to be triples, the question will be what turbos should I look at??? Like I said earlier, this stuff is additive as all hell!!!! And thanks again guys!!!!

Oh yea, one more thing, I thing I'm going to mount my batteries down underneath the truck on the frame rail so that'll give me some extra space.....Much rather have some turbos living underneath the hood rather than a couple of boring batteries!!!!

You may be in for a hell of a frankenstein build to put a 6.7 in a 6.4 based truck. A lot of computers and wiring to be swapped.

For turbos compounds (twins) or triples I highly recommend you purchase from H&S motorsports. That is who put my triples together. They also have a triple turbo Rail and Pro Street truck.

Check it out.

LVMS is one of the slowest tracks in the country too! I raced there for 12+ years.

That's because all the stripper glitter and sex settles on the track. But I love them, especially the Hungarian ones.

I just made this on the way home. 5th gear WOT pull. On factory turbo it wouldve hit defuel at 1450 in the blink of an eye with 1330pw fuel.

Man that is awesome! Thanks for the video. I'm living my life at the moment like this picture but when work turns around I am definitely interested in a very similar setup to what you have....

I'm not too worried about it, the only issue I can for see is the canbuss, but I'll get that figured out. I bought both the 2010 and 2013 Ford shop manuals with all the electronics and wiring schematics. The engine management is just like any other Ford car, hell they even use the same damn PCM as the gassers!!!! The motor I purchased came with the engine wiring harness but no PCM, I already bought that, the transmission module and the glow-plug module. It's just the interior stuff that's going to be the challenge. But really, that stuff all comes down to the canbuss with most of it.....As far as I can see the smart junction box is where the minute differences are.....And if need be I can always put the later model SJB in it along with it's wiring harnesses. Most salvage yards around here don't focus on selling the wiring so you just have to catch em before they go to cutting it all up when they dissemble the truck. And then they sell it pretty cheap as not too many guys go looking to buy that kind of stuff. Electronics is my background so I welcome the challenge.....

I'll be sure to share all that as the time goes on.....
