if it lowers bp at all with a 38r i will get it. dont really care about boost... bp is what i want to get rid of.. it makes enough boost as it is with my setup.

live life full throttle

It won't lower backpressure persay because nothing changed on the hot side, what will change is the boost will be higher at the same backpressure.

If you adjust your w/g to a certain boost level that would drop your bp at the given boost level.

My mouth is really watering after this thread. I want one of these for my OBS. I'm buying sticks this summer... hurry and get these wheels on the shelf.

What kind of "sticks" are you going to get? Maple? Oak? Clear Pine?

I would suggest you get some INJECTORS, as I dont think "sticks" will work very well.

I say tomato, you say tohmahto. Hardly a reason for a derailment, no?

And for what its worth, my woods consist of mostly cherry and maples

Fine...

From now on the HPOP is no longer the HPOP but a fuel pump.

Well no, now that would be comparing "apples to tomatoes"....

If your being serious, I was using a coined-term. I didn't ;literally mean I was installing a section of tree-branch into my cylinders.

Its a term that was coined by Dodge guys.

Has no place in any powerstroke conversation, unless you consider a HPOP a fuel pump.

So getting back on topic, will these testers be dynoing? Or just scanning egt, boost, cp and the likes? When can we expect results? I'm getting antsy to get one for my obs.

Id be more than willing to test in my obs but at a 302k and low compression isnt worth testing. Ill pay the extra few bucks and let others test

^My feelings exactly. For $30 more.... I'll just wait and see what happens.

Like the others, I'm curious about a wheel for a 38R. I've had this turbo for years, and it has the ported compressor housing from Dieselsite.

For the first time since installing these injectors I'm running without any boost leaks. And because of that, I've now experienced surge on this turbo. It's not easy to make it surge, but it's happened. Just wondering if that wheel will cure that as well as provide more air.

Will the 38R wheel work with a BD Thruster 2 turbo? I've already emailed Bob, but never got a response.
