Motor is out for a rebuild and getting a stg 2 colt cam, ceramic coated delipped pistons and head porting.
Running 350/200s, fully built BTS with PI converter and a precision 76mm.
While the motor is out I’m sending the converter back to PI to raise the stall.
Running 4.10s now but switching to 3.73s when new ‘05+ axels get here.
I have 1800 rpm stall now and I’m thinking 2100 should help with the large charger.
What do you guys think on stall speed?

The more HP the motor, the converter is going to stall higher. . Also, with the taller gears, the converter is going to stall higher. I would leave the converter alone until you run it.

I have run it for a while the way it is and it does good once you’re in it but a few hundred rpm down low would help a lot.
The only changes are the cam and rebuild.

You'll want a higher stall then so it'll be easier to light the charger off the line.

That’s what I was thinking!
I just want one that has the “right” stall.
Curious what others have run for stall with similar setups.
I think 2100 ish would be good without being too much.

Apples to oranges here, but im running a kc stage 3, which is 68mm in my 6.0, and ive got a 2k stall dpc quad disk, stalls closer to 2100, and is about perfect launching. Stock, which is around 1800, was a little too low to light the turbo enough and cut good 60fts. I tried a 2400, and it wasnt right either. Felt funny shifting down the track, almost seemed to lose power due to the extra slippage it seemed.

Completely different, i know, but hope it helps some

I appreciate the feedback!
Exactly the information I need.
Thank you!
For a BB 76 with a .98 turbine housing it spools decent for the size, however I’m just hoping a slightly looser converter will help a little!
Also I like apples and oranges... lol

im the same setup but with 37s and .373 gears, havent regeard yet to 4.30s

i ran the stock stall on my PI for a few years and now at 22 or 2400 stall and definitely enjoy it better on just a 467, going to a 472 now after once motors fixed (threw some rods)
