Just ordered one of the BW CPS's, its in stock at my local Advanced Auto, $19.46 with tax, i'll have it in tomorrow. Can't wait to see if this helps out my idle!
Well if you have failures in your Contributiuon test or your perdels on cylinders swing wildly from 0 to 5+ then yes I think it very much could help. If your issues are for some other reason that maybe not.
IF you have it act up after the swap when the wipers are on try cutting the ground coming out of the wiper motor and add more wire and ground it separately. That should stop it. Then again BW may have made changes to hep not make it as sensitive as older ones. But the issue from all I have seen is trash interference from the wiper motor. This is the only complaint I have ever seen about the BW CPS
