Can someone fill me in on who Patriot is? I am assuming just a satellite company of Spart-an?? Seems like the devices and people are all the same between them, kind of like Smarty and RaceMe??

Just curious as I have just never heard of them

Spart-an is no more, which I'm sure you've figured out. I would agree with your statement of the devices and people being the same. I believe Spart-an was killed by that 3-letter agency. If you're on Facebook, look'em up.

I'm currently (im)patiently waiting for them to send me the software update. I've already got an nGauge and SOTF switch from my '15. nGauge is already installed on my 17 with the Mexico file.

Great!! Keep us updated if you could and possibly provide a quick driving review. Would love to hear something about how this tuning is with engine and trans now!

Absolutely. If it's anything like the 15-16, it'll be phenomenal. I never had a lick of trouble with their tuning on my 2015. As soon as I get it as loaded it up, I'll be sure to post a review here after my test (joy) ride.

Definitely excited to hear how the tuning from Patriot runs. It seems like some people love their 11-16 tunes, but some have been dealing with CEL issues with no ETA on a fix. I know they've had their fair share of EPA issues, so we'll see what customer service is like once a handful of people are running their new stuff.

I REALLY want to tune my truck, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger because I don't want to deal with the "growing pains" of new tunes, firmware issues, etc.

Just got my beta 600 file loaded up from Patriot and put about 5 miles on it. Trans shifting is everything I expected. I ran their tuning on my 2015 so I had a pretty good idea of how well he can tune these things. And the 2017 file is no disappointment. The trans tuning is spot on. If anybody is interested, I have a couple videos. Both from a stop, one full throttle, the other just normal acceleration.

Good to hear! Always nice when companies are forced to compete against each other. This will drive PPEI even harder to get the Ezlynk platform compatible for ECM and TCM tuning.
