Little update on this truck......All piping, turbo housings ect was dropped off at the powder coater last week. 6.4 Oil filter housing, and alternator housing will be dropped off this week. Also saw one of my wheels all completed, Can Not Wait to get these back on the truck!

Also made the decision that I am going to put in a new Factory HPOP on the truck, and get ready for reassembly. We will get back to the HPOP issues next year after a solid pump has been released. Unfortunately deadlines of getting this truck back together, and needing the shop space is not going to allow the time to wait right now for the pump.

Looking forward to getting some more progress on this truck.. Hope to have the wire harness complete this week, and HPOP swapped in!

well overdue update, I have piping out at powder coat, turbo houseings as well. My main harness is just about complete with all the new wire wrap. Spoke with the guys at MPD and looks like my injectors should be back to me soon, cab should be up in the next 2 weeks, frame will go out for paint, then reassembly....gona be a busy few weeks!

finally some progress....motor parts should be done at powdercoat this week. Shop is gona be open for the truck this weekend....injectors are in hand....hope to have the cab up mid week next week, and frame out for paint...gona get very busy shortly

we painted it, prepped is as per POR 15's directions, and sprayed a top coat over it. a year later it stated pealing off. POR 15 told me my frame was too clean so it didn't take.

Im too anal so were stripping it down again and gona prime and paint it this time. plus gives me a chance to clean up a little but of the wiring to the back of the truck, and redo my fuel system the way I want to.

starting to have dejvu of about 4 years ago........

Frame is at the painters after power washing all of the POR 15 off......Could not be more disappointed with the product. Il have a review in another thread.

The next few nights will be sanding and prepping, and hope to get some color on the frame and have it back to the shop sunday. Im leaving to SC for easter on Wednesday, so plan is to have the motor and trans back between the frame rails befor I leave.

12 long pages of reading but man that thing looks good, i just cleaned 146k of crap off my valve covers and thought i was going to yak......you got me looking into that wire wrap, looks really sharp
