Just curious why you would paint the inside of the valve covers?

while I certainly would like to say "what josh said"....I was lazy any opted to have them sand blasted to get all the oil and grease off, the guy blasting em forgot to tell his employee not to blast the inside, so I painted it to cover it back up....
have some clear going on this week, and getting the motor prepped for paint..
definitely going with black on the bottom end..will look much cleaner for sure!

Mawk I heard if you pull the engine apart and paint the rods to match the truck it will hold more power...

yea but that only works if you paint the inside with color matched bed liner.

either 250 or 265 haven't decided yet

Pull the covers off, and get them powder coated...

don't worry....parts have been at the coater since yesterday afternoon...I haven't even put the nuts on the studs yet so...was no big deal.

FWIW, mine are torqued to 225 and well, you know first hand how I like to drive my truck... and all the coolant has stayed where it needs to be for over a year now
