Well i talked with 2 guys on the phone, i think both of them have viewed this thread and both I definitely trust both shops... Im not going to mess around with anything else until ive got a compression test done. This motor is a craigslist special sold to me with 150k miles in good condition. Im basically wasting all your guys' time if compression is a problem and that is why im making a little bit low on the power end.
Results to come tonight!

Anything else I should check while im dug into it?

Interested on the compression results, after talking with Brian about some dyno issues we had with vanderchevy's truck he said some rigs dont dyno well. We spent almost 4hours one day at the dyno and it wouldn't put down good numbers, it was around 460 was the highest but track times showed the motor at high 500s with a chewed up turbo.

you should have another 100hp on tap fuel only, your numbers are way low both dyno and 1/4. Not sure where your problem is, but something is not up to par.

I know what was wrong in the 1/4. My 60' time was 3.1 on that 14.1 pass.... I was having TC/tuning issues there. I know it would run a low(ish) 13 right now at 7700lbs.

But its still not what it should be!

Still no compression numbers but ive got one thing to say....

Brian is a badass.

Called him up, took awhile to get ahold of him, but he knew my problem and its a broken sprag in the TC. He is sending me the newest updated version for free tomorrow!

I knew that was your problem because mine had exactly the same symptoms when I broke a sprag on two different occasions.

Yeah that was a good call.. When you got the new TC did you notice any difference? This TC is like 2-3 years old i believe and probably has been run really hard... Wondering how much better the new updates are!

I have had a few of Brian's convertors and everytime he updates it seems like it keeps getting tighter. Brian's customer service is truly
second to none!!!!!!

Really, do you guys generally haul a bunch of tools or anything with you? I've scaled mine at two different places, one was a cat certified scale and both were within 60 lbs.

Seems as though thats not my issue.

Since my transmission is out right now i tried tracking down the vibration on my truck. I pulled the flex plate off and roateted it a little bit, put a new CPS and ICP sensor it in that i had laying around and fired it up with no IC piping or a DP. It ran very very smooth. Granted the back of the engine is being held up by a floor jack and not connected to the frame, but its much much more smooth than before.
