How many of you have seen the new Rigid Rock Light Kits? I had a chance to install a set of these on my customers F250 Platinum that I've been building over the past couple of months and I was highly impressed with them. The kit is very complete and the lights are extremely bright. These can be used in so many applications.

Wheel Wells
Bed Lighting
Entry Step Lighting
Boat Applications
etc etc

Can you get just the lights? My excursion already has the crappy AMP kit with a couple of dead lights.

Does anyone have pictures of these installed?
I am concerned about the coverage area of the lights. Everything I have seen online so far shows gaps in the light hitting the ground.
I am looking for no gaps in the light pattern and IMO only see this happening with two kits or building your own.

Explain what you mean by spots being blocked jay?

I have done 2 of these and they are a pretty slick kit. For how small they are, they put out a very good amount of light.

It is cheaper to just get the 4 light kit. You would not need to use the wiring harness and fuse block that rigid supplies. $300 for the 4 lights. The individual lights are like $85 each I think.

You will need to add more lights to get complete coverage.

Here is an example of a 4 light kit that I installed. These are installed high and center of each wheel opening.

I would suggest getting a second 4 light kit and doing the frame rails or rockers of the truck. That would get you some really nice bright coverage.

I will cut you a deal if you buy two kits together.

Does the color of the housing matter? If the housing is white, would that matter? If it does not, look up any electrical sign supply distributor in your area and pick up some channel letter LED modules. The only problem is that they only come in white but will be just as bright(depending on what you get) and cheaper. You will need to cut them apart and wire them up. They are all 12v.

Send me a PM if you want to try some out. I have some brand new modules you can have if you pay the shipping.

Not to start a fight here. I just googled them and i found them for $120 a pair without the wiring.
