Long story but I have 375k on my 06 6.0. Had a long block built by kdd at 334k. In previous posts I’ve shared my issues with it. Anyhow, at 348k I had new psp heads and 625s, oem oil cooler, and all other parts associated with the job installed at a very reputable shop close to me. Haven’t had any issues after that job except for an oring on an oem standpipe, but I replaced them with the dieselsite ones with no issues. At 370k I sent off an oil sample to schaeffers to get analyzed. Came back with everything normal except 2ppm fuel. After getting the results I went ahead and used hotshots stiction eliminator since the truck did have a small amount of white smoke at start up. This time, I had some 15w40 Mobil 1300 I used with the hotshots. After break in, I’ve always used 15w40 schaeffers except for once I used 5w40 schaeffers. Never had an issue with 5k ocis. When I sent in a sample at 375k, it came back with just a hair more iron than the previous 5k sample. I can attach the analysis if needed. What caught my attention was really small magnetic shavings in the Motorcraft oil filter. I always check the filter since it’s really convenient being that it’s an open element, but have never noticed anything in it. I was certain they’d tell me the iron was elevated but it came back as normal at 16ppm, compared to 15ppm on the previous 5k sample. I’ve been hesitant to even start it as I have other trucks I use, but I fired it up earlier today and let it idle to 190f eot and checked the filter and didn’t find any visible shavings in the filter. I was going to pull the ipr screen to see what I found but haven’t got to it. On startup, with the stock tune, the icp is at 800 until it warms up and hangs around 600psi. Ipr is at 28-30 on cold start up but drops to 22-23 once warm. No issues starting or idling. I didn’t drive it, just ran it parked. One thing my schaeffers rep did tell me is that there’s a trace of nitrates in the sample as well. I’m hoping that came from some coolant entering the oil when I did the standpipes and the coolant hoses I had to remove around the valves covers when doing the standpipes pipes and dummy plugs. No nitrates were in the previous sample. Where would y’all start trouble shooting on this issue?

So the first UOA showed slight fuel dilution. Did the second UOA show it also?

A stiction eliminator isn't going to help with fuel dilution.
