My drive line (pinion) brake works great...now. Took several iterations to get it worked out and make sure I can't accidentally engage it after launch. As currently configured I have about 1700psi to that brake when staging and it holds the truck perfectly...even at over 30psi of boost.

I tried the trans brake a few years ago...2 problems. First, the brake didn't work well enough...truck moved out of the beams. That was an internal leak and could have been fixed. Bigger problem is that t-brakes require full manual valve bodys and manually shifting a 4R100 doesn't work. Even with a PCS controlling the trans, there is a significant delay and shift quality issue. The 4R needs to be put in drive and left there. I'm told it would work in an E40D case and shift right but I never tried it.

BTW...great numbers David. Another .01 and you will match my best 1/4 mile ET. Guess I'm going to have to up my nozzle size to even the playing field...my little 200% just aren't going to cut it now.

Misunderstood by my stupid smart phone!

What's up with your back half?

2 things, one the oil(sheared) went away.

2nd I am still playing with the tuning (fuel curve), at the dyno I was having a popping issue so I pulled quite a bit of fuel out of it to fix that problem.

The positive is she still has a lot left in her but I am more concerned with getting the 60 foot issue resolved.

The pinion brake idea is not out of the question, going to try a few other things first.

YOU'LL DO WHAT I TELL YOU TO DO!!!

Trying out the new Drift HD Ghost camera, so far it trumps the G0 Pro I had previously.

Drift has a monitor built in, has a remote to turn it off or on, takes regular pics from the remote, has a zoom built in, has a standard tripod threaded insert, is water proof as it comes, lens can be rotated 360 degrees from mounted position, has a phone app to watch on phone vs built in monitor.

and Brent can sell you one cheaper than a Go pro.
