OP... I didnt realize those new Cummins were that fast.

theyre not..my truck isnt fast..it doesnt even want to shift half the time and the others it pops out of gear. the hpop has made me have a power loss as well..be BARELY pulled on me..it was pretty sad. I thought they were supposed to be 800ft lbs of torque out the factory..mines no where near that margin. then he has h&s hot unlocks..he shoulda walked on me FAST...but he didnt..a canned tuned 6.4 would walk circles around those things in reverse

Well, this is kind of what i was thinking. I know the new powerstrokes feel strong like my SRL tuned truck. Remember, those new dodges are quite a bit heavier than our trucks as well, IIRC

A new CCSB Dodge is gonna weigh about the same if not less than a comparably equipped Ford. The 3rd gen dodges were definitely lighter than the Fords though.

Alright, well i thought diesel power said that the dodge was somewhere around 900-1000 lbs heavier than the GM and Ford when they tested all three.

naw my budys cc short bed 6.7 is only like 7800 ny ext cab short bed 6.0 is 7400 with a 1/4 tank of fuel

Waco local. Used to post on the NTAC board a lot. Had a blue '91gt slammed on cobra r's, navy blue trans am, and a few other assorted cars. Saw the username, figured it was you. Adkins is my last name btw.

Back on topic..he financed $45k AFTER his $7,500 down payment. Go find a clean z06, or viper for that price. I'd say a '13 gt500, but that purchase would end up costing him 6 figures!

Jesus christ! I paid less then that for my heads/cam/bolt on viper!


I hear ya about being out of the scene.. I haven't even drove said viper in over a year now. My 500rwhp f-150 once every 3 or 4 months. Just now hopefully getting my 6.0 back running this weekend after sitting apart for over a year.

What all is done to your 6.0? I remember that f150...that thing was badass. Who's tuning on said 6.0? I recommend Matt @ Gearheads Automotive Performance..he's right there in Bryan, and he did the tunes on my truck. Smooth and almost smoke free. Rolling burnout at 20mph with my 24' enclosed car trailerbis always cool too lol.

EGR delete, 4" downpipe/exhaust, banjo bolts, blue spring, oil and coolant bypass filters, then SCT tuned gear head with PHP FICM tuner...

I had to replace the oil cooler and did the EGR delete.. Took me nearly a year haha.

I was going to get an MTW turbo, ported intake, and studs. I just bought a house though on some acreage and want to build my 40x60 shop first.

Viper has the autox wheels on it in this picture.

Jesus you dont screw around on fixing something do you ?! Lmao. One of these days I need to replace my oil cooler, haven't had the time or motivation in this damn heat.

If it ever cools off, id like to get down to hrp...try to get my 12's on my stock p zero's.

He did say his truck isn't fast...? If he was bragging about his truck being bad ass then I could see where you're coming from. The title of the thread is talking about losing as well, so I highly doubt he cares.
