Oil drain pretty much has to go in the pan... feed not sure there are some.plugs in the side of yhr block that look like oil galley plugs but I'm not certain on that.

I was going to try and mount mine off the center section since my Turbo is so heavy o wanted the bracket ballanced. But taking both housings off works for mock up just gotta be careful not to damage tge wheels. I'm betting john is done before me

90% of the total weight is the turbine housing....

Man up boys... I stood on the battery with one foot on the cowl and had no issues aligning and mounting the GT47 by hand.

Get.....R....Done...

On Edit:

You can see my mount I did on the 7.3 back in the day. 1/2" plate construction, using the AC mount bracket. Has never given a minute's trouble. No reason why you guys couldn't do the same sort of thing coming from whatever location you have available on your engines.

Ive got a bracket fab-ed up out of thin steel that uses the 2 front manifold bolts and then Ill run a extra support off the 2nd alt holes Im just waiting for a place to open to buy some 1/2 plate and cut it out. My biggest hold up on the intake is finding a boot thats 5.5". Downpipe is going to be fun but very do-able.

Mine was 6" but equally hard to find. I ended up getting it from some import turbo shop like boost logic or something.

If you're fine with rubber, then your best bet would be big truck parts suppliers. They'll have huge intake boots for all those turbos on big trucks and they'll usually also have them in angles and sharp 90's and all kinds of good stuff like that.

Dustin this is what I came up. It uses the lower 2nd alt hole closest to the cab and the front 2 header bolts.

Any further back and the downpipe would hit stuff.

alot of stuff in that area has already been moved on my truck is probably why i was thinking farther back, but actually i think i can make a bracket very similar to yours and make it work, thanks for the pics.

Getting closer. I think I might have a pretty good thought how to do the wastegate. Just need to get some 2" bends here to see.
