Well it's only about 8 mph off a 6.4 , so either the curve sucks or it's under 500 horse.

I would bet its the power curve. The 6.7s come on really strong at low rpms then die off on the top when they run out of air and fuel.

HP calculator says 511 hp to the wheels with that 8.8 pass. (assuming 8200 lbs race weight) Not bad. :ford:

Don't ever use e.t. as yor basis for the calculator. That truck is not making 500 no way. And 8200 is a bit high isn't it? That's heavier than a 6.4.

I think I'll go back to shoping for a reg cab 11' again - glad to see these trucks making decent power.

It probably is...I thought a CCSB 6.7 was around 8200 w/ driver but maybe not. And yes, you're right, calculated with MPH it comes out to around 455 rwhp. Why the difference?

What if he cut a Better 60ft ? It would say he made more power , or worse 60ft vice versa , as well as gearing , shifting etc. trap speed is much more reliable.

I've been meaning to get this thing on the scales but always forget about it when I actually have the time. 3.55 gears

Just for comparison, we had two 6.4s running too. Spartan 250 with a 4.5" lift on 37s was running 9.1-9.3s with a slipping trans. Kem 310 with 36s and 24s was running consistent 8.6s. I can't recall trap times on either. All were CC/SB.

It definitely felt like the my truck was out of air on the back half of the track. Boost was around 32psi with ICP holding at 28k psi.

The trans tuning has smoothed out a little after putting some miles on it today, but still feels like it needs some work. 1-2 2-3 shifts will make you cringe in traffic occasionally. Great WOT response though.

Ran the 0-60 test off the Minimaxx yesterday. Never seen it below 4.8sec with standard H&S tuning.
Reg. Cab Long Bed. 4x4 Boost launch. SPE Tune.

A tuned 6.7 our running a tunes 6.4 is not something you see every day. That's awesome. Al though I think you did say the 6.4 had a slipping trans
