As was I. Johnathan tuned my truck while he was down here in Florida on vacation. That was when pump talk was discussed and he suggested I wait for srp to come out. So I did. Actually bought 2 pumps. The other pump more than likely the same batch. Was put on the truck at the same time. But this truck has been parked. And only has less than a 100 miles on it. And a monthly idle an move around the yard. Really tossing around the idea of just running another Bosch pump. And deal with the CEL.

My truck died 4 times today. I had a gallon of cold water in the truck and it allows you to douse the pump when it dies and get it started so you can continue on until.the next stop.sign where the pump.will invariably kill the truck. Icp.drops through the.floor and it croaks.

Today the truck will NOT build icp over 2800ish at wot in a race tune. Making a whining sound. I pulled the trigger and emailed my seller and gary and am waiting to see how eager anybody is to help me. Im going to send it in and if gary wont help.me out and let me exchange it for a stg 2, with me paying the difference, ill take it back and I guess take my licks and move on to.something else. The srp wont ever hang under my hood again. Too risky to trash a brand new set of injectors with a pump you knoooow is going to commit suicide.

I wasn't talking about the people.who bought them. I was referring to the people.pushing it.

It was a joke more than anything.

I've got a couple seasons of pulling on mine.....not insinuating preference either way, just saying it hasn't given me problems. I was one of the ones in the very first batch

My SRP1 was installed in April of 2010 and has about 45K on it. I've got a small leak from the IPR, but no HPOP problems. <knocks on wood>

If this one goes out, I'll probably give the HB JR a try.

When I got my billet stealth the srp rumor was out there and the idea of saving all that money was enticing but in hind site I'm glad I went ahead and got the billet stealth

Bruce-i.want a stg 2 stealth, billet

Docbar-thats what im thinking. I just dont want to eat this pump. Not a ton of money but a grand for 4800 miles of hpo isnt exactly.cheap either.

I hear ya. I'd be pretty unhappy with that. At 45,000 miles, it makes it easier to deal with if it goes out. ;)

What's even more of a kick in the balls is, I bought 2 at the same time. More than likely the same batch of the first pumps. Mine has prolly less than 7k miles on it. The other pump prolly has less than 100 miles on it. As that truck doesn't get driven. Only the monthly start up to move it around the yard so he can mow. Was going to swap that pump to my truck. But it worries me now.

Where did everybody go that said these were great, lol.

I'm still here, lol. I'm not pushing sh!t, really, apparently I'm really lucky, mine hasn't had any issues other than the spirallock, yet.
Serial # on mine was 1264?, can't remember for sure. Of course its still on the shelf as I haven't made time to put it back in. And it'll see miles when I do, then I'll see for sure!
