Weekend updates:


And last night I started on the sub enclosure. 1.6 cu/ft sealed. 1 1/2" front baffle.
This will be the front center console with 5" of the factory console top grafted on to still have OEM looking storage and cup holders.

Lookin great so far. You think the cups will stay in the holders with the sub under them? imp:

looks ood, i like makin my own boxes and found a site to were you type in your box size and such and the db's you want it to be tuned for and it will tell you how long of a pipe to insert in the box

Did you double up the carpet. (new one on top of old OEM)

FYI...I did the dash cover on my recent build and it made a hugh difference. Cut down on some audio reflection.

I did, Jason. I cut the OEM carpet back away from the sills so they only had to pinch down one layer. It lays so-so....I'm definitely not 100% happy with it but I'm pretty sure that aftermarket carpet wasn't gonna lay like OEM anyway so I guess I'll either deal with it or choke up who knows how much for OEM black carpet.

If its none of my business just say so but how much money do you have tied up in audio stuff?
Amps, speakers, subs etc.

Retail on everything down to the wiring and deadening/supplies/materials, etc would be just north of $10,000. Retail is a dirty word though. LOL
Actual money into it is $6-7000 or so.
