Mostly it's a driver. When he does tow with it it's usually less than 10K.

My truck with 160/30s and a 364.5 is fantastic for towing. It's still a little smoky at lower RPM, but not much to complain about everywhere else.

Thanks for the info. Id be really interested to see how his setup works with a 369sxe. I really want to see a rig with 250/200's and a 369sxe.

Ive been hearing nothing but good things about the 364.5... If I could get my 175's to hold oil pressure id probably go that route but ill most likely step up to a larger hybrid and will need more than the 64.5.

What is the pulse width that is being commanded? Many times, PW is excessive and folks think the HPO is at fault when it's the tuning.

I still have my 369sxe sitting in its box. One of these days I'll get around to installing it...

Yeah PW was a problem in the beginning. Now Truck maxes out at 3.0ms, 2800 psi and high 70% duty range. New pump and IPR. Before I was in the 4.0+ range and couldn't hold more than 2200 psi.

Few others with these injectors having same issues. They just require a lot of oil were finding out.

Exactly! I figured it out in about two weeks. I will say with a monster hpo setup those issues went away but with whats available today in this market, its discouraging to run a Gen 3 or twins to power a small a code.

Speaking of tuning... Any progress on getting a tuner to fly out for some live tuning?

No, not really. I spoke with Vision diesel and they said that if I or someone got a bunch of guys together they would try to get Bill out.

I'm leaning towards that the way for me to get better results lies more in converting to T4 than tuning. After all, I'm running Bills tunes and they work well overall just would like the truck cleaner and cooler. This is classic 38R symptoms I'm learning.

I dont have any EGT issues with my 38R and 175/80's. It may just be what Bill has done to my tune but its his hottest tune that I run 100% even with roughly 8-10K behind me. Unless im just burring the pedal on a mountain pass im good. I pull Snoqualmie Pass in WA at 70 in 6th and sit at about 1150*
