Terrible mileage

I had mine for a week. Had two tune revisions and still couldn't deal with it.

I'm on tune reversion #4 going from #3 to #4 was a huge change in driveability. Matt extended my shifts and the converter now locks at 55 at light throttle (locks earlier at 15% or more than that it locks it) also when T/H is on 6th gear is locked out.

And a bunch more fuel was added on the bottom end which helped out a lot.

Not calling you one by any means man. I just don't think that truck was even remotely close to being setup properly.

This was three years ago anyway. I have no idea who tuned it. Can't remember. The tuning was revised over and over. Even switched chargers. Even swap. No change. It was a tight rope act of smoke control or not spooling right.

As I said, mash the pedal and "it worked good". But when he needed to pull under power against something in a working capacity aka towing it was a huge **** fest. Driving around empty its pretty easy to drive around problems.

You have to remember around this time I was either driving my 2011 dmax that was a huge pile of fail. Shopwhore. Broke down ALOT. Or I was breaking in my 12 which turned out to be a great truck. So my focus wasnt great. I just remember thinking "you de-engineered a truck that towed like a beast".

This makes you sound like an idiot. Tuning must've been trash on that truck.

A 366 will outrun stock chargers all day everyday.

yes. tuning is key. you can slap a single on and run a generic out of the box tuner and it'll be a pile of shyt. working with a tuning company is a must.

What did he do that really changed the EGTs? What are yours cruising at 70?

IDK all I know is once he gave me my 3 reversion my egts went down and my 4th went down even more also I noticed on my newest file injector clatter is louder.

How long do you want one for? I'm about to head onto the interstate now, I'll log for 3 hrs if you'd like

For a while now. LOL but we found other issues with the truck as well. Data log's will help though getting it fine tuned.

I told Cody to tell you to hold on to that steering wheel going be all smiles... :tree:

Since we have very similar setup this will be a good base file to start. This file runs excellent in my truck.

I push the go pedal hard too but I know how to limit my self. LOL
