So the truck showed up today. Was everything I was expecting and hoping for. I paid someone to drive it from Missouri to me in Florida. Was 1000 miles and he told me he did on average around 70-75. The truck showed on the dash nearly 21 mpg from the trip. Pretty impressive.

Excuse my Ram blocking most of the truck but here it is.

I'm a RIGID junkie in the fog lights I have two of the DOT approved rigids on each side. Man they are super nice for using on the street.

The rest of them in the bumper are a prototype from Thuren Fabrication. They are making the bracket and it's their house brand of lights. They are crazy bright though. Very impressed with them.

You know your making it hard for me to like you. Oil

Jealous of all these cool projects you got going on.

I won't take credit for everything in that shop. My best friend and business partner, Jeremy Miranda, is the owner of Miranda Built. He builds very high end custom classic cars and hot rods. Last year he was a Great 8 winner at Detroit Autorama and also won street machine of the year for Good Guys. He's incredible at what he does. You should check out their work on Instagram or Facebook.

I take it he will be doing the frame work? I wish I found a color match bed when I did mine!

Ill have to get some good pictures but a few things.

1. Push Button Starter
2. Auto up and down windows
3. Monitor in dash is larger and works much more smoothly.
4. Alpine Stereo system much clearer with more bass than Ford Sony System
5. MegaCab
6. Seats are made with much higher quality softer leather.
7. All interior lights are LED from the factory.
8. The LCD between the gauges is 2 times larger than the ford and is very customizable. Even allows turn by turn navigation to be displayed here.
9. LED accent lighting from factory on your feet, behind door handle pulls, in headliner shining down on center console.
10. Upfitter switches much easier to hook up.
11. Steering wheel is much thicker in diameter, has a great feel.

I know a lot of these things are trivial but a lot of them are huge upgrades.

I personally believe ram kicked ford's ass on a bunch of stuff in there. the push button starter is massive.

Why would you really want a push button start other than the cool factor?

no ignition to go bad, no scratches around the ignition, no taking keys out of your pocket. I have other cars that use no key, I like it much better. not to mention being near the car and the doors unlock .

The new F150s have all that too. My fiance' just ordered one (a month ago.) It's a lariat, but built like a platinum. She just hated the tailgate and the big titty bar around here is called Platinum so she didn't want that plastered all over the back of her new truck.

I'm going to take it apart when I get it, digitize it, build the model, then SuperArmor it like I did for the Superduty.
