Exactly what I used to own. 525hp/1000tq with a small turbo upgrade and a tuner. Great truck.


I'm just so tired of being under my hood every weekend. Weather it's fix an oil leak or fuel leak... Exhuast leak any and all of it... My old setup with the powermax was awesome never worked on the truck just drove it, changed tunes and could tow anything I wanted. Smoke free and all

my 366 has to come out now too lol, shaft play, in 5,000 miles :( after i JUST installed my nice new pipes, watch me scratch them now, dammit lol

Mines a year old with blown seals maybe 10k on it... I had a strange thought of 62/75 compounds today... Lol set of new 205s... I might be able to tow with that setup...

Are you guys running china turbos or what? 5000 miles and it needs seals is ridiculous.

Maybe you should switch back to a more reliable vgt turbo :lookaround:


They can make it at least 5000 miles LOL

I'm at the point of do I drop huge money on this truck or get another... Turbo or turbos, injectors, hpop... All for what? To gain a little power? Or do I sell it buy a c powered vehicle

IMO... every vehicle will have its ups and downs. No matter which one you buy, if you want 700hp then you are going to have to sink money into it. Whether it be tranny, bottom end, etc... And if you get some trucks you will have to live with the crappy truck that comes with the nice C powered motor.


Its your choice but if all you need is HPOP and turbo... then I would do those and see how you like it before calling it quits

Trans problem is showing to be a solenoid... I'm just frustrated is all I want it to not be a problem and that's all it's showing to be any more

Brian I hear what you are saying. I can get you a solenoid but at that point you still have to wrap up a good part of a day getting it put in. I understand the frustration.

I have everything I need Saturday I'll drop the pan swap it in and change the oil really not hard but just a pain

Hahaha, Nah I didn't order it from china, and I would like to go to a vgt again but that'd be a pain in the ace and it would actually cost me alot, so to have mine rebuilt under warranty, stuff happens.

Sounds like you just need a different truck to DD and this needs to be a toy.


I would love too do that but I love driving my truck I bought it to drive not to sit... Once I get all the bugs fixed it will be fine

I know the feeling I actually don't have my stock stuff so I would have to buy it all again I've even modded my ic tube to fit full 3" now

I didn't mean just let it sit, more less just have a beater vehicle to drive when the truck is down or being modded etc.
