No im doing it all, except the o ringing of the heads, myself, they are getting me a big chunk of the parts though.

Pistons and rod bolts showed up today, then some dumb azz decided when he wa putting the rings on that breaking one seemed like a good idea. :doh:. I forgot how time consumng and irritating putting rings on was, its been a while...

Got notice from Corey at Diesels and Mor that my heads are finished. Gonna be grabbing them tomorrow and popping the valve springs in and get this thing back together.

So, injectors showed up today. Huge thanks to Rykan at Holders! I had them vernighted on wednesday afternoon, they had them turned around in 2 days, and i got em on tuesday. He wa pushing to get them shipped on friday, but as my intake still aint here, i didnt want him killing himself getting them done. His custoker service is one of the best ive ever dealt with, i will definately be doing any other injectors i do through him, as well as recommending all my buddies to him.

I got the long block built today, injectors stabbed, and rails on. Gotta retorque in the morning and throw the valve covers on, but its going decent. Ntake should be here tomorrow, so itll get thrown on too. Also mocked up the driven diesel regulated return. I gotta say this thing is nice. I put a sinister on a buddies truck, as he bought irates fuel system, and the sinister return fit terribly. This one, even mocked up, is fitting awesomely.

Ill get pictures tomorrow of everything.

Chit man, got busy today. Intake is just setting on there.... Got caught up so hopefully itll run tomorrow. Still waiting on the coater though. Kinda hard to run with ni compressor housing :fustrate:

Got her rnning today. After a short break in of flushing the coolant to get all the fuel out, loaded up the xtreme x and set the ficm programmer to performance. Took it down and strapped her to the dyno, and.... lost a bunch of power :wtf:. Best we got was 584 on the water/meth, where previously it put down 588 fuel only. Charlie from kc was down there, and we started watching pids while running on the dyno an it was only pulling 2.0ms of pulsewidth. Plus tge damn intercooler was heat soaked and iats were near 160. We are hoping the ficm tuner has software issues, and were gonna try runnng it after an actual break in again and see.

So for now i got a really pretty engine thats damn expensive and dont work as good. Whoopeee :doh:
