is it possible to put the motor back in with a t4 setup (s366 and all) still attached to the motor? its a pain in the ass to install the turbo in the bay.

Hey OSCS where are you getting your blocks from? I am in the Houston area and need something without PMR's.

Bought it from a member on here in West Virginia I believe he has another block with 90k on it but its not cheap. PM me if you want his contact info

pull the turbo apart and only attach the exhaust housing first. Then install the chra and intake snail as one piece.

I ended up just adjusting the snail upwards to access the bolt behind it. I found it easier that way. I will try that this go round and see if it becomes any easier, thanks vander.

That is how I have to do it. If I can do it with my arms and hands I think just about anyone can reach in there doing that way.

I don't see why they couldn't be pulled out through the front, but that would be a major PITA! much easier to drop the trans first then pull the motor out.

Just askin fellas, never done it before just looking for advice as I will dropping the trans this weekend. Anything I should know outside of the obvious?

I have a buddy that pulled his in my gravel driveway on to his chest...

Was funny as hell to watch.

Swapped in a new TC and threw it back up there! LOL
