Tire help

I am getting the american racing teflon mojave wheels in a 16x9. If i go with a 315/75/16 size tire what kind of backspacing would i need to work well with a 2000 f250 with a leveling kit and some minor trimming.

For tires. I want to do some mild offroading but my truck is also my daily driver. I drive 80 % cement 20% gravel. The climate around here is very wet. Rains a lot. But i also need good snow performance. Good road wear and such. I know this is a tall order but what tires would you guys recommend.

I was looking at getting toyo open country MT's. By far my favorite looking tire.How would these do in the wet and snow though?

The wrangler duratrac would probably work too but i think they look kind of weird.

4.5" Back Spacing

I run a Toyo MT and it works quite well everywhere.
The Duratrac is a better snow tire, and probably better in the rain too.

Do you have a picture of a truck with 35's 4.5" backspacing. I want the tires to stick out a little bit but not too much. So they dont rub the springs. Do you know what kind of mileage people are getting out of the duratrac i know the toyo mt does well.

For the tire, take a look at the Goodyear Duratracs. They are classified as an aggressive all-terrain. They are sapposed(from what everyone has told me) to be a 40k+ tire. And are amazing in the mud and snow as well as awesome DD asphalt tires.

That is the tire i am looking at. It looks like its going to fit my bill perfectly. Now to figure out what size.

I can say the toyo M/t's are everything people say they are. I love them and they do great in all conditions. I consider them a aggressive all terrain myself. They are not a mud tire but will do ok in the mud. They look great as well. I just wish they were wider so next time I might get smething else.

Me personally I liked the 33's look more since they didn't look stuffed and they didn't rub like the 35's did.

Thanks chappy that is the look i am going for. Perfect. So when turning with a 4.5 backspacing the 35s dont rub the spring?. I was going to trim the plastic on the bottom of the front bump and tie back some of the wheel well cowl if it rubs. Im more concerned about rubbing on the springs.

A -12 Offset would be ideal for what your looking for.

Never touched the springs after an alignment. At first the drag link was off after the lift and turned more one way then the other so it rubbed when truning left I think. After it was ceneterd it never rubbed again on the springs. I also had to trim some plastic and pull back the inner fender . I drilled some small holes and used a few zip ties. It rubbed pretty good at te bottom of the inner fender till I pulled it back. No damage just sounded bad.
