Went to a load cell dyno yesterday
First pull on the exact tune (1945pw) that I ran
[email protected] @8,670lbs yielded ~507rwhp and ~800lbft mid 30s boost
I informed him of the mph and weight and low boost (i see 42+ on the street) and he said he'd turn the load up and I bumped the tune up (2048pw)
That yielded 520s/850s mid 30s boost
Mentioned I made 567rwhp on his mobile dyno with 1330pw tune so he turned the load up to 4mph p/s.
I left the fuel at 2048pw and the numbers on the dyno graph you see are this (and best) pull.
530s/870 Also mid 30s boost.
I was then questioned if my truck really weighed what it did and pulled out two CAT scale slips in the glove compartment. He said there was a weigh house down the road I should go weigh for accuracy and go make a street pull to see if my leaky wastegate blocking plate was making me run low on power (boost).
I came back and told him the current weight and that it still made 42psi and made it by 2,000rpm as opposed to 3000rpm+ on the dyno.
I think we agreed to disagree on the dyno accuracy and ability to load my truck. I guess I need to find a new local dyno that is diesel friendly. We'll be tossing the truck on the dyno at scheids to verify.
Truck should be roughly 650rwhp on the 2048pw tune , but who knows. It cleans up the 2048pw tune but starts hazing on the 2150pw tune. Probably out of air.
