torque converter removal

Got it, soleniod on the right fender was acting up, runs now, 3 gallons of fluid in, drives and shifts good but is getting hot just idling?

Again, when recording those temps, what was the ambient temp?

And keep in mind the cooler lines run through the radiator, so when the oil/coolant get hot, from idling, they will actually heat up the tranny fluid, since there is no air passing through to cool it.

I would run it, and as long as your temps are within 70* of ambient temp, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

um my sd 7.3 didnt run it through the rad. the obs does.
