1999 and the first half of 2000 didn't have a radiator cooler. All other years did.

How much oil should be on the dipstick when the engines running

It should be in the cross hatched part of the dipstick when warmed up.

When warm and off its on the hot part but when running there is nothing on the dipstick

If it is running and in park and not on the dipstick, it is low. Add a quart at a time
