Ok what color wore do you tap into?

Solid tan wire in trans harness.

Ok sorry about all the questions so I take a wire tap into the tan wire and run it back to my upfitter switch? Then wen I flip it it will lock the converter.

No. It needs to be grounded to lock. I just used the upfitter to supply power to the relay which closes and grounds the converter solenoid.

Does anyone have a pic of the wire that I tap into. So I can make sure I get the right one?

Well I put kne of these on my truck and it worked for about thirty feet and the truck quit moving any ideas could my relay be bad?
