Corb I wouldn't necessarily count on that input holding. Nick has wrecked a few inputs in his 450
Nick who? What does he have done to his trans on his 450? How is it holding?

Are you still planning on changing gears ?
Weekendwarrior432 I think...
It's an elite stage 3. Full billet. Suncoast HD. I think he's wrecked 3 inputs, but never a trans, and I'm not sure on the converter.
Corb I've broken that same part which is in the picture on your first post atleast 3 darn times on a built nadp trans in my 6L... I have a stock tranny in my truck now,it sure is incredible how reliable these stockers are unless you spray the crap out of it and burn the clutches..lol
Dont know if it has been posted or not Corb, talk with the tuners about a shift kit combined with upping the line pressure in the tuning. Like I said in the last thread, install a shift kit, use stock shift pressures in the tuning.
He running a shift kit in there? What other mods, engine and turbo wise?
Chris,
Before you tear into it. Get your tuner to return the converter lockup to stock. Meaning the ramp rate.
I bet that fixes it.
The other option is Phil@DPC and I have an idea for a converter that should last.

Thats what I am thinking too... Ill essentially have an upgraded clutch pack in a stock trans... My last stocker, lasted 130,000 miles, on the stock fluid... I think that with regular service, this one should last at least as long... LOLMine is stock Corb. I am just speaking from tuning gas engines. The reason is too much pressure when the shift starts and things change.
I am running the street tune with delayed OD and TC lock. I like it a little better than the firmer because it is not as jerky.
I run a late lock TC set up as well. Truck likes it better.
Awesome... 5 th gear just went AWOL again...

Tadd,
I'm running Phils DPC right now. It was also the one that self destructed with my stock trans. .
You missed what he said.
