So this morning I was cruising down i-5 and my turbo got super loud, sounded like a jet engine. I got off the freeway and came up to a stop light and you could still here it. I have the no limit intake and it has never been that load. So the light turns green and my truck doesn't even want to go. I can floor it and barely get it up to 15 lb boost. I cruise home and check all the CAC boots and everything look perfect. I take the intake tube off the turbo and long and behold there's a black rubber coupler stuck in the tube blocking over half the intact off. Its the same one that goes over the turbo and secures the no limit intake tube on. I guess I'm just lucky and got two of them, because there the exact same ones. So now to the tranny slipping. I wanted to go drive it and make sure that was exactly it. I have the mini maxx with all four gearhead tunes and gearheads normal tranny tune. I leave it on hot street all the time and I just did all the deletes and programer less then 300 miles ago. I went to a dead end street and took off. It starter burning out as always so I let off and got back in it. It pulled hard all the way to fourth gear where it seemed to slow way down. I would usually be at 90 and I was only at 75 mph. I came up to the stop sign and when I took off the truck slowly started moving. I looked at my mini maxx and it showed I was in fourth gear. So I shut the truck off and back on and same thing it was in fourth gear I pulled it into first and it still showed fourth gear. So I got it up to speed, turned my chip down to stock and manually shifted it into third and it went then second and it went and then first and it went. So I put it in drive and drove back home and now its working fine but I'm scared to go and try it again. I'm 100% sure it f-up. So has anyone else had this happen to them? And what's the max boost you guys are seeing the most I've seen is 43 lb. I'll be ordering tranny parts on Monday, I'm thinking tourq converter, clutches, and billet input. If you guys can think of anything else and what brands? I do plan on making it a 750 HP truck.
