my truck has 153xxx miles. currently im running innovative tunes. about to add 190/100 injector and a stage 3 powermax on a stock transmission. i'm sure there will be transmission issue down the road but i want to try and prevent them for a while. while i save up for a built trans. any suggestions? modified direct clutch solenoid? different tunes? i've heard gearhead tunes are better for transmission? any suggestions are a huge help

Gearhead and don't hammer on it much. Other than that, it'll happen sooner rather than later

I ran my current setup with innovative tunes and lost two stock transmissions In 2000 miles.

Innovative tunes also about killed my built trans.

So there's nothing to help the transmission hold up better besides gear head tunes?
No... I've heard great things about tsd though.

Okay so this weekend I installed my 190/100 injectors and new gear head tunes and my transmission is acting funny. It shifts terrible from 3-4 when I say terrible I mean it goes to like neutral and won't go above 4 if it goes into 4. When I try to coast it just slows down like it's in 3rd or 4th. Any help on how to diagnose the problem or should I try and bump up the shift pressure. Also the tow haul light was flashing but I didn't get any codes out of the transmission

I'm assuming your still on the stock trans?

Have you tried reloading the tune?
I've read somewhere that the tunes could have reset the tcm or something and it has to re learn? If not it's the direct clutch? Yes I have a stock trans still. And re load tunes?

Yes it has to relearn, but it shouldn't be hanging all the time.

Yes reload the tune, as in returning to stock and then retuning. If its missing and hanging gears at light throttle something is wrong. It will act funky relearning but I've never had mine hang between gears like your talking about while it was relearning.
